About The Kentucky Association of Home Inspection Professionals
At the pinnacle of every profession, there is a society, or chamber, of leaders and pathfinders. They come together to give back some of all that they have received, as they reached the highest levels of skill and success in their profession. They do this, purely and simply, because they love their profession, serving others is part of what they’re about, and they know professional growth depends on leaders nurturing it. They are not looking to sell stuff to others. They are looking to contribute, to share best practices, and to grow the profession they love.
The Kentucky Association of Home Inspection Professionals (K-HIP) was conceived as that group. It has been a long time coming. We do not need to recite the history, but all of us have been through a decade of licensing making pointless trouble and paperwork, increasingly wandering aimlessly – without taking one unlicensed home inspector of the streets in over 10 years. You know “The Rest of the Story.” We can do better.

Our mission is simple: Fix it. K-HIP is dedicated to selflessly advancing the common good for home inspection professionals, the public we are dedicated to serving, and making that wonder called The American Dream a reality for everyone we can.
